Everyone in our team speaks pretty well doing presentations. We project our voice to the back of the room and try not to read off of our slides. Maintaining eye contact with our audience will become easier as we practice more and memorize our parts. There is no clear best or worst speaker in our team because all of us work on improving our speaking skills and sounding more confident each time we present.
We need to practice our parts before our presentation or else we won’t ever get comfortable talking about our slides. We have to continue learning more about how exactly the artificial intelligence in our app will work. Communication between team members is easy because we get along well and enjoy each other’s company. I think that our presentation will improve greatly if we practice our separate parts and also practice together. That way, we will be able to better the flow of our presentation, and the transition between people’s parts will be smoother. I think we are able to hold the audience’s attention, but people are always more focused on finding things to write about for when they have to give us feedback.
The feedback we get on GoSoapBox can become repetitive and are not very helpful most of the times. This is because many people are only writing comments for the grade instead of to help us get better. I think that feedback I give is pretty helpful and is really specific to what groups have presented.
We have worked very hard on our project. I think that as of right now we stand in the middle of the class. Our app design is one of the highlights because we have spent more time developing that. I think our project will become stronger when figure out exactly how the science will work and are able to explain it to others.
